Realistic Dog Training

     

 We started working with Kelly because we were overwhelmed with our 'out of control' puppy named Frankie. He is 1-1/2 years old and never had any formal training. He was jumping, barking and running away every chance he got. Kelly helped us in our home and we immediately saw change. She gave us techniques for helping with the jumping, barking and impulse control. We worked hard on our homework and saw progress each week. By the time we completed our training, Frankie was able to sit, sit-stay, come, reduced barking and stay at the door is getting better daily at distractions outside. It is a work in progress and Frankie is making progress! Kelly encouraged us to get a safe gate for the front entryway and it has helped so much since we have lots of kids going in and out that way. Her training techniques are pet and people centered. She was always thinking of what was best for both Frankie and our family. I would DEFINITELY recommend Kelly to anyone that needs help with training their dog! She's amazing!

 I never thought I would have a dog that I can put in a sit-stay at the wide open front door and have him not run outside. It is amazing! We are so thankful for Kelly!

 My mom, Kelly, has helped me with my anxiety from a training & nutritional aspect. Her dedication to making it better day by day makes me happy and feel safe. Being a reactive pup is exhausting but she does not give up on me or herself in growing in her passion to learn new things to progress towards more positive behaviors.

 Kelly is amazing! She is extremely passionate about what she does and truly cares about her customers and their fur babies. Kelly helped us train and transition our new Labrador mix rescue, Marigold, into our family and helped with some basic training. She is great at customizing each training session and training location to meet your needs and accomplish your goals. She successfully trained Marigold to sit and stay at the door whenever it was opened. We trained her to shake and lay down. We also had a training session at the Monon Trail to train Marigold not to pull and visit every person and dog that walked by. She left us with homework each time so that we could practice what we had learned. It only took us a few sessions to accomplish our goals. She was always available for questions and provided a wealth of knowledge about food types, treats, toys, walking harnesses, etc. I would definitely recommend Kelly for all your training needs.....you won't be disappointed!

 We were so fortunate that a friend recommended Kelly when we got our puppy, Max. She was an incredible resource, helping us with everything - crate training, leash walking and teaching Max to develop manners so he wouldn't jump all over our guests. When some strategies didn't work for Max, she was always there to listen and come up with new solutions. She was very patient and loving with Max, and gave us simple plans that were realistic to implement. Also, she makes herself readily available, so if there are questions between sessions, she can support you. In addition to her expertise and compassionate approach, she's a lot of FUN to work with. I highly recommend you give her a try!

 Kelly helped us with our new puppy as it's been awhile since we potty trained a dog. She got us on a schedule quickly to work out Tillie's needs and help us stay on schedule for a quick response. In addition, Kaila helped us get Tillie to come and sit to put her harness and collar on. We use to run after her and that was exhausting at our age! Give her a try!

 Kelly worked with us to address specific issues we were struggling with as we integrated two young rescue huskies into our home. She truly listened to what our priorities and struggles were versus bringing a prescribed regimen which was helpful and truly appreciated. Kelly was diligent in pointing out and celebrating both big and small successes we were having that might have been missed as we were in the trenches! We'd highly recommend Kelly for your training needs.
